Anne K. Carlson.... flute.

Anne Carlson received a Bachelor of Music in flute performance from North Park
College in Chicago and a Master of Music from the University of Idaho. Ms. Carlson recently performed the Poulenc Sonata for Flute and Piano with pianist Phillip Moll at the National Flute Association's Convention in New York City. She has performed in masterclasses at the National Flute Association's conventions in 1985, 1989 and 1992. As a winner of the Spokane Allied Arts Festival, she performed a concerto with the Spokane Symphony, and as a winner of the Batelle Recital series, she performed with Dean Williamson. She is currently principal flutist with the Federal Way Philharmonic, and is founding member of Trillium, a two flute and cello trio. As an active member of the Seattle Flute Society, Ms. Carlson has performed in master classes for Ransom Wilson, Michel Debost, Julius Baker and Judith Mendenhall. In demand as an adjudicator and private teacher, she has judged contests throughout the greater Seattle area, and her own private students are highly successful in competitions and auditions. |
Mara Finchelchtein.... cello.

Mara Finkelchtein studied at the Gnessin School of Music and the Tchaikovsky
Conservatory in Moscow, Russia. Her performing experiences include being co-principal in the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory Symphony Orchestra, the Moscow Opera Theater and principal cello for the Moscow University Chamber Orchestra. Since 1990, Ms. Finkelchtein has freelanced in the Pacific Northwest region. She has performed with the Seattle Symphony, Seattle Opera, Cornish Chamber Series, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Northwest Sinfonietta, Fear No Music 20th Century Ensemble, The Seattle International Music Festivalthe and the Paley Chamber Music Festival in France. |
